This is a course for tired women.

Women who have generally done all the things they need to do. You’ve played by the rules (mostly). You’ve probably also got some good results. But you’re tired. You wake up every morning and keep going, keep doing what’s expected and getting through your list. But ultimately, you’re tired. The kind of tired you feel in your bones. The kind of tired that sleep doesn’t quite fix. Everybody around you is telling you to slow down. Rest. Take some time off/ look after yourself.

But how?

How is that even possible

How can I rest and still meet my goals?

Rest and continue to achieve?

How do I even rest? Are there rules for that? What process should I follow? How do I know I’m resting the right way?

This is a six-week course to explore the importance of rest, and the practicalities of how hard that actually is. We explore the science behind rest, the psychology behind why it’s hard, and work through the guilt and fear that often co-occur when we try to look after ourselves.

This is supportive space, where we work together to find a way of resting that works for us (spoiler, this isn’t a tick box exercise or ‘one size fits’ all approach). We take time to explore what gets in the way of resting and support each other to navigate how we implement this into our lives in a sustainable and achievable way, that will last.

The course will utilise psychological techniques to work through the challenges of resting, and help you to move towards a state where rest, nurture, joy, and excitement are routinely present in your daily life and will support you to manage your responsibilities and meet your goals.

Questions you may have...

What will the course cover ?

Each week will offer a deep dive into a foundational topic that will support you to rebuild your relationship with rest

and ultimately joy.

Over the 6 weeks we will cover:

Week 1- What rest means to us

Week 2 - Guilt - how to name it

Week 3 - The history of our guilt

Week 4 - Another way? Naming a compassionate voice

Week 5 - Finding rest that serves us

Week 6 - Creating a joyous life

Is this course therapeutic?

This is a space specifically to learn the skill of allowing yourself to rest. This is a deeply therapeutic skill to learn but it will not support you with ongoing mental health difficulties which require separate support and attention.

I am struggling with my mental health – is this appropriate for me ?

This course alone is not able to support women experiencing general mental health difficulties such as depression and anxiety to the extent that it is impacting on your ability to function. If you are struggling in this way, we do offer individual therapy and can advise on whether we would be the best place to meet your needs. Please see HERE for more details about the therapeutic support we offer and details of how to get in touch. If you are already working with one of our therapists and have been advised that this course will be of use, please do jump on in!
